Questions about data protection and exercising your rights

If you have any questions about data protection or want to exercise your rights under data protection law, please use the contact details above.

When do we process personal data

We process personal data that you actively transmit to us through your entries. Furthermore, we automatically process personal data based on the use of our website. Your personal data may therefore be processed in the following cases in particular: Visit our website; Contacting us; Applying for a job; Defense against attacks against our technical infrastructure.

contact requests

If you send us a message via one of the contact options offered, we will use the data you have given us to process your request. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) GDPR. If your request serves to conclude a contract with us, another legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR. The data will be deleted after your request has been dealt with. If we are legally obliged to store it for a longer period of time, it will be deleted after the relevant period has expired.

Google web fonts

We use Google Webfonts to display our website. It is a collection of fonts from Google LLC ("Google"), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, which can be used in particular for websites. When your browser calls up the font used on our website, the public IP address of the computer you are using is transmitted to Google LLC ("Google"), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The IP address is a unique numeric address from which this computer sends and retrieves data on the Internet.

When you visit our website, your browser loads the fonts required for its correct display in order to display it as we intended. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font on your end device will be used to display our website. For more information about Google Web Fonts, visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq. The general data protection declaration of Google applies, which can be accessed at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. Our legitimate interest in using Google Webfonts is to ensure a uniform appearance of the website and thus its functionality on all end devices. The legal basis for processing is therefore Art. 6 Para. 1 f. GDPR.

Google Maps

We use a map from Google Maps, a service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, on the "Contact Us" page to provide a visual representation of where our company is located. When you visit this website, your IP address will be transmitted to Google. The IP address is a unique numeric address from which this computer sends and retrieves data on the Internet. The data protection declaration of Google applies, which can be accessed at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. Our legitimate interest in using Google Maps is to help our website visitors find our company so that we are easier to reach. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 f. GDPR.

ajax.googleapis.com

Furthermore, your public IP address is passed on to Google due to the use of ajax.googleapis.com, a service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When you access the website, your browser calls up so-called programming code from Google, which is used for the functionality of our website. We use servers from Google for this, as these can usually be reached faster and more securely than the server on which our website can be accessed due to their large number and spatial distribution. If your browser has already loaded this programming code, it will not be reloaded by Google, but your browser will use the one locally saved copy. For more information, see https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/ . The general data protection declaration of Google applies to this service, available at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. After that, Google will not process these IP addresses further. Our legitimate interest in using ajax.googleapis.com is to ensure the functionality of our website and in particular the speed with which the website is opened, regardless of the location of the access. The legal basis for processing is therefore Art. 6 Para. 1 f. GDPR.
